Having worked with hundreds of small business owners over the past seven years, Karen began to specialise in web tech marketing mentoring in 2006. As more and more of her clients started to ask about how she run her hugely successful email newsletter, she ran her first How to do Email Newsletters training programme.
How to do Teleseminars programme soon followed, along with monthly teleseminars covering topics such as How to do Blogging and SEO for Beginners. As social media exploded in 2010, it didn’t take much for Karen’s clients to start asking about how these new fangled marketing tools worked. And so the Web Tech Club was born.
Launched in September 2011, the Web Tech Club is for technophobic business owners who want the likes of Twitter, Facebook, blogging and email marketing explained in plain, simple English.
And that’s exactly what you get with Karen. Her practical, no-nonsense approach has struck the hearts of business owners who feel overwhelmed by the technical set up and get so frustrated that they end up pulling most of their hair out!

Cathy joined the CanDoCanBe team when the Web Tech Club was first launched. Her enthusiastic and energetic outlook on life means that nothing is too much trouble.
Cathy manages Karen’s email marketing and shopping cart systems, as well as schedules the monthly Web Tech Training Sessions.
She is also the go-to lady for any membership queries or login problems.

Tracey Rissik

Tracey has become Karen’s WordPress expert over the past year. She has helped set up and manage several of Karen’s WordPress sites and also been known to take Karen’s late night calls when Karen has messed up her own websites because of her tinkerings!!@!
As the owner of The Simple Web Company, she worked in various IT roles for 20 years, moving into the telecommunications industry when she moved to the UK from South Africa in 1997. In 2007 she took the chance to start her own business when the team she managed for her employers was outsourced.
Tracey also knows her way around membership sites, using the Wishlist Member WordPress plugin that this very club is built on.

Alicia works with small companies helping them get to grips with low cost marketing tools like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, business blogging and email newsletters to grow their business opportunities.
Alicia spent many years working in PR and media before starting her virtual assistant company in 2009, Absolute PA.
